Meet The Tailor

The Story Behind AW Bespoke

With over twelve years in bespoke and made-to-measure tailoring, Alex’s journey into the craft began in the traditional way — drafting patterns by hand and cutting cloth from the ground up. Learning tailoring at this level built a strong respect for the fundamentals and the understanding that getting the basics right from the start makes all the difference.

Understanding how someone moves, how they wear their clothes day to day, and how they want a garment to feel helps shape every piece that’s made. The aim is always the same: clothing that feels comfortable, natural and personal to the wearer.

That same approach sits at the heart of AW Bespoke Tailoring today. Every garment is made with care and attention, focusing on how it will wear over time — not just how it looks on the hanger. The goal is simple: to create pieces that feel right, last well and become part of your everyday wardrobe.

Craftsmanship & Cloth

Good tailoring starts with getting the basics right - garments shaped to feel right, not just look good.

At AW Bespoke Tailoring, patterns are drafted carefully and cloth is chosen for how it wears over time, not just how it looks on the day. Every decision is made with longevity in mind.

The focus is on comfort and ease, with details that reveal themselves the more you wear the garment.

Fittings are relaxed and personal. Time is taken to understand how you move, work and live in your clothes, so the finished piece feels natural, comfortable and genuinely your own.

Clothes made to fit your life, not just the occasion.
